Preparing to take the GACE^® Paraprofessional assessment increases your chances for success on test day. There are a variety of test preparation resources available to you.

Free Test Preparation Materials

• Paraprofessional Assessment Study Companion — designed to help you familiarize yourself with the content to be tested, test question formats, and pertinent study resources.
• About the Paraprofessional Assessment tutorial — provides examples of the types of screens you will see and question types you may encounter during the computer-delivered assessment.

Priced Test Preparation Materials

• Paraprofessional Assessment Interactive Practice Test (IPT) — a full-length practice test that allows you to answer one set of test questions to simulate what you will experience on the actual day of the test. After you complete the IPT, you can see if you answered questions correctly or incorrectly and get explanations for the correct answers. It is available for purchase through the ETS Online Store for $18 per subscription.

  Note: There is only one version available for each test title, so each time you take the test, you answer the same questions in the same order. Retaking or repurchasing the same practice test more than once does not give you different practice questions or change the order in which the questions are delivered.
